Color: Silver Processor Type: Intel Core i7 UPC: Does Not Apply Processor Speed: 3.30GHz Hardware Connectivity: HDMI Graphics Processing Type: Dedicated Graphics Features: Built-in Webcam Memory: 8GB thank you for checking out my computer listing, i really appreciate that you're spending your time viewing my computer with that said, what you are looking at is my dell 14" notebook!!okay hard to get excited, i know... it's nothing crazy like my girlfriend's alienware m15x but what it lacks in flash it makes up for in ease of use and reliability. this notebook has been my go to portable machine for the last few years it has an intel i7 640M processor with a top speed of 3.4GHz via turboboost which is actually pretty darn fast. minimum speed is 2.8GHz but it goes up automatically when you need the power (without you having to do anything!) there's 8gb of memory which is good for most anything. i did a lot of photo editing & video editing on this computer (graphic design is my profession) photo editing programs i used were adobe photoshop and cyberlink photodirector ultra. both programs run without problems. video editing programs i used were wondershare filmora, hitfilm express 4, ezvid and some others. again, programs run fine. the hard drive is a 2tb drive, so you have a crazy amount of room for movies, music, games, files, etc for media, you have your premium bluray drive to watch all your hd bluray movies. look, i edit videos and hd photos, i'm not going to NOT have a bluray drive... tons more stuff like hd display, stereo speakers, webcam & mic, wifi, wired lan, 4 usb ports, hdmi out, vga out, and lots more I have decided to sell this notebook recently because I got a macbook from my boss a few months ago for my birthday. I kept this around for a little bit so my daughter could use it for playing games. Yes I have a daughter with my girlfriend and we're not married yet... I straight up don't have the money to get a ring to propose. I mean I have some money but I don't have enough to get her the rock she wants... i was actually going to sell the macbook first, that was my initial thought. however i don't think my boss would appreciate it if i gave her gift away... so i'm going to have to sell my trusty Dell. This computer is probably a lot faster than any $600 computer you will get from walmart or bestbuy. Just putting that out there. Guaranteed w/o a doubt. It was $1600 when I got it new BUT the hard drive upgrade was $200. I'm asking a reasonable price with shipping included. I wish I could charge less but it doesn't make any sense for me to sell it any cheaper. Could probably list it up locally and get 600 right away. This is an EXCELLENT business notebook. I will be including some extra stuff worth $50+ with the sale. For less than business uses, the system was great at playing HD movies, streaming HD video, and even the occasional game or two while the boss isn?t looking. The NVS 3100M graphics card can handle itself well with consumer 3D applications, even though its focus is on business uses. For users who don?t need a dedicated graphics card, or don?t need the highest performance, it would be suggested to just go with Intel GMA HD integrated graphics for best battery life.Build quality is very good and if feels very durable with the metal panels top and bottom. In the business notebook market not all makers have stuck with metal body panels. After the T60-series ThinkPad, Lenovo switched to a plastic top cover, which has stuck for every generation since then. The HP EliteBook though keeps the metal top cover and retains the image and feel of a higher-grade notebook over a standard plastic consumer model.The Latitude E6410 chassis felt very well built and resisted any flexing in the usual spots. The palmrest and touchpad showed no signs of sag under heavy prodding. The keyboard directly over the optical drive stayed firm, even though most notebooks do show some signs of weakness in this area. Grabbing the notebook by the palmrest and carrying it around didn?t cause any twisting or creaking noises. With the notebook closed the screen cover gave above average protection for the screen and should prevent any keyboard key marks on from imprinting on the LCD after being transported in a backpack loaded with other items. With the notebook open it took a good amount of pressure applied to the back of the cover before it showed any ripples or distortions on the display. The Latitude E6410 is packed with a ton of connections, including three USB 2.0 ports, an eSATA/USB combo port, VGA and DisplayPort-out, audio jacks, LAN, and FireWire-400. Other features include an optical drive, SDHC-card reader, and a SmartCard reader. Conclusion Performance wise the Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA NVS 3100M graphics performed very well, handling everything that would be expected of a higher-end business notebook. Build quality is fantastic with metal covers on top and bottom. Users looking to tinker with the insides will be happy to see a very user-friendly access cover, needing only one screw removed to open it up. Overall compared to the HP EliteBook 8440w and Lenovo ThinkPad T410, the Latitude E6410 holds its own and performs quite well.
